NORTHERN TRUST PROMOTES JONATHAN HOUGHTON TO OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Northern Trust Company Ltd delighted to announce the promotion of Jonathan Houghton from Property Portfolio Executive to Operations Director, recognising his almost 20 years of outstanding service and contribution to the company.
Jonathan first joined Northern Trust in January 2008 as a Development Surveyor, where he played a key role in delivering several new development projects. He subsequently progressed to the role of Property Portfolio Executive, during which time he has overseen remarkable growth in the company’s portfolio. During his tenure, the annual rent roll has more than doubled to £65 million, with the total portfolio now exceeding 9 million sq ft in over 200 industrial, trade and office park locations. The portfolio contains over 4,000 individual units, the vast majority of which are let to SMEs; and supports over 25,000 jobs. In addition, Jonathan led the successful creation of the Scotland regional office, driving its continued expansion and strengthening Northern Trust’s presence in the region.
