Northern Trust has secured two key lettings at the Airport Industrial Estate in Newcastle. Premier Meats has taken Unit 1AB totalling 5,446 sq ft whilst national company Screwfix Direct Ltd has leased Unit 21 on a 10 year lease agreement.
Premier Meats who have been operating since the mid 1980’s have recently opened the doors on their new premises, which includes an ancillary retail section and a concept kitchen where they can demonstrate their products to both trade and public customers. Mark Whittaker of Premier Meats commented “The premises at Airport Industrial Estate are our second Centre of Meat Excellence. Open 7 days a week our new unit has been fitted out with a state of the art kitchen and we are planning to provide a number of cooking demonstrations over the coming months.”
Meanwhile Screwfix Direct, the UK’s largest multi channel supplier of trade tools, plumbing, electrical, bathrooms and kitchens to tradesmen, handymen and DIY enthusiasts, has completed the letting of their 5,300 sq ft unit on Airport Industrial Estate. The Newcastle branch is one of over 160 branches nationwide for this established company.
