21.9 acre brownfield site with planning for up to 190 new homes, retail development and holiday accommodation
The 21.9 acre / 8.85 hectare brownfield site was a former holiday camp, located off Beach Road in Hemsby.
The derelict site was broadly rectangular in shape and extends to approximately 8.85 hectares and comprised the remnants of a former holiday camp.
A planning application for demolition of the existing buildings and redevelopment of the site for up to 190 new homes was approved in early 2020. The planning permission also included retail development and holiday accommodation together with associated open space, landscaping and infrastructure.
Northern Trust gained planning consent on behalf a private landowner, and project managed the sale of the site to a developer.
