Work Starts on New £3.5 Million Industrial Development in Livingston

Northern Trust is pleased to announce that construction work has started on site for their new 30,000 sq ft industrial development at Eliburn Industrial Estate.

The new scheme will complement Northern Trust’s existing ownership at Eliburn which currently comprises of 18,646 sq ft in 16 units. The new development will add 13 new units arranged in 3 terraced blocks. There will be a single terrace of trade counter units and two terraces of industrial / workshop units. Unit sizes range from 1,108 sq ft up to 3,339 sq ft with the larger offices benefitting from integral office space, along with dedicated parking to the front of each unit and generous circulation space.

New £4 Million Industrial Development in St Helens Completed

We are pleased to confirm that work on our new 35,773 sq ft industrial development in St Helens has been completed.

The phase two development at their Gerards Park scheme located off College Street, adds 20 more units to the popular scheme. The new units have been constructed to a high specification and are arranged in 3 separate terraced blocks with sizes ranging from 818 sq. ft up to 2,900 sq. ft. The units over 1,000 sq. ft include integral office space, and there is dedicated parking to the front of each unit with good communal circulation space.

The phase two development has been part funded by the Local Growth Fund. Local Growth Funding is awarded to the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and invested through the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority through its Strategic Investment Fund.

Northern Trust Secures Planning Permission for Conversion of Listed and New Build Dwellings on Land at Bulcote

Northern Trust Company Ltd is pleased to confirm that, working alongside the landowner, they have secured planning permission for 65 dwellings on the 15.8 acre site at Bulcote Steading.

The site is owned by Midlands Land Portfolio Limited (MLPL), the property development arm of Severn Trent, with Northern Trust acting as their planning promotion partner. Northern Trust has secured planning permission for the site and is now working alongside MLPL on the marketing process for disposal of the site.

The site which comprises a Grade II Listed model farm complex located within the Bulcote Conservation Area and within the Green Belt, has been the subject of extensive discussions with Newark and Sherwood District Council and Historic England regarding the future of the listed buildings. Following lengthy discussions an application for planning permission and listed building consent was submitted in 2015, supplemented by a further application in 2017. This proposed the conversion of the existing buildings to provide 24 dwellings and a community hall alongside the provision of 41 new build homes. In light of the extensive discussions with the local planning authority and Historic England the planning application was approved at planning committee in October 2020, and following detailed negotiations the S106 has now been agreed and planning permission granted.

Northern Trust Agree Planning Promotion Agreement for 176 Acres in Carleton, Carlisle

We are pleased to announce that we agreed a planning promotion agreement with the private landowner on land at St Cuthbert’s Garden Village, in Carleton, Carlisle.

The land which extends to 176 acres is currently a Greenfield site in agricultural use. The plans for the site will be promoted in two separate phases with the aim of providing up to 750 new homes.

Northern Trust Adds 78,000 sq ft to Portfolio with Strategic Acquisition

We are pleased to announce that we have completed the acquisition of 2 estates at Sefton Business Park, Aintree and Raynesway Park in Derby; adding circa 78,000 sq ft to the portfolio.

Northern Trust Completes Sale if Site at Burton Joyce to Local Developer

Northern Trust Company is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the disposal of a 1.7 acre site in Burton Joyce, Nottingham via Savills Nottingham Development Team to a local developer.

Outline planning consent was granted by Gedling Council for 15 new homes on the 1.7 acre site, located off Orchard Close.

Northern Trust Completes Sale of Site at Great Eccleston to Duchy Homes

Metacre Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northern Trust Company is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the disposal of their 35 acre site at Great Eccleston to Duchy Homes.
