Northern Trust Northern Trust Latest News. http://www.northerntrust.co.uk/ Copyright, Northern Trust Company Limited COMMUNITY INVITED TO VIEW NEW SPORTS & TOURISM-LED PLANS FOR THE FORMER WALL PARK HOLIDAY CENTRE On behalf of the landowner, Northern Trust Company Limited would like to invite residents to a public exhibition on the 17th May 2013 to view new plans for the sports and tourism-led redevelopment of the former Holiday Centre.   The new plans are the result of extensive consultation with the Local Authority, community, key stakeholders and following involvement in the Neighbourhood Plan process.   The scheme will now provide new sports fields, a high quality touring caravan and camping site with facilities building with a cafe, extensive recreational opportunities and will secure considerable ecological benefits for the peninsula. The number of new family and affordable homes has been reduced by 30% from previous proposals and the proposed carehome has been removed.   A spokesperson for Northern Trust said “We have listened carefully to the concerns expressed by the community and have responded positively by making a number of significant changes to the scheme.  In addition to redeveloping a derelict brownfield site two key aspects of the plans are the new sports and recreational pitches for Brixham, and the high quality touring park with facilities building providing a mixture of touring caravan, camper and camping pods. We have been encouraged by initial feedback to the proposals and are now seeking the views from the wider Brixham community.   The public exhibition event will be held at the Clubhouse, Brixham RFC, Rae Barn Road, Brixham on Friday 17th May between 12.00 pm – 7:30 pm.   For further details please contact Northern Trust on 01257 238555. http://www.northerntrust.co.uk/latest-news.php?id=254 http://www.northerntrust.co.uk/latest-news.php?nid=254 Fri, 03 May 2013 09:00 GMT EXCITING PLANS FOR TEAL CLOSE TAKE A STEP FORWARD Northern Trust Company Ltd is bringing forward proposals for a mixed use development on land to the east of Netherfield, known as Teal Close. The plans, which were recently on display at Carlton Town Football Club and the St George’s Centre in Netherfield, are for 830 new homes (including much-needed affordable properties) and include new sports pitches, employment land, a hotel, a community hub and primary school, biodiversity enhancements and highways improvements. The proposals, worth £96m, could create around 700 long-term jobs in a sustainable location and will help to provide affordable properties for key workers.      Over 160 people attended the public exhibition events where the plans were on display and many provided feedback which will influence the final proposals. Northern Trust is now working to prepare a planning application, incorporating the community’s feedback, which will be submitted to Gedling Borough Council in May.   A Northern Trust spokesperson said: "We’re grateful to everyone who has provided their feedback as part of our consultation process, both at the exhibitions and via our dedicated website and email address. The proposals will bring major benefits to the local community, not least through new jobs, sports pitches and community facilities. We will now take into account people’s views when preparing our planning application and we look forward to working with the community as the plans progress. Please keep checking the website for further updates."    The website containing more information on the proposals  is www.tealclose.co.uk.   ~ENDS~    Notes to Editors: Press Enquiries; Lexington Communications:  Sarah Atta:          0161 711 0300 sarah.atta@lexcomm.co.uk Matthew Crisp: 0161 711 0300 matthew.crisp@lexcomm.co.uk http://www.northerntrust.co.uk/latest-news.php?id=253 http://www.northerntrust.co.uk/latest-news.php?nid=253 Tue, 16 Apr 2013 09:00 GMT NORTHERN TRUST & FELLOWS HOMES TO DELIVER 2ND NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT Northern Trust has again joined forces with local house builder, Fellows Homes to provide a second new housing development in Chorley.
