LOCATION

The site is located 2 miles north west of Nuneaton town centre off the B4111 (Mancetter Road). Nuneaton is a town in Warwickshire, with excellent access to the M6, the M42 and M69 motorways. The main A5 trunk road also acts as a border with Leicestershire and the neighboring town of Hinckley. The town centre amenities are situated approximately 2 miles away, with the Ropewalk shopping centre providing a range of retail outlets and eateries.

The site is a covered redundant reservoir and associated land extending to 1.75 ha / 4.3 acres. The site has been promoted on behalf of the landowner, with planning submitted for 40 dwellings, open space, ecological mitigation area and improvements to adjoining local nature reserve. 

CURRENT STATUS

Planning permission was granted in June 2016 for 40 dwellings, open space, ecological mitigation area and improvements to adjoining local nature reserve.

The site has now been sold to a housing developer, which has completed in April 2017.
