HISTORY
- An 8 acre site acquired for mixed use development from Mytravel in Rochdale.
- Northern Trust submitted a planning application for a mixed use scheme, including offices together with residential development.
- Northern Trust successfully gained planning consent.
APPROACH
- The first phase of offices at Sandbrook Park covering 18,500 sq ft where completed and actively marketed for letting.
- Northern Trust is looking to commence construction of Phase two and three of the office development when market conditions improve.
STATUS
- Planning was granted for a 65,000 sq ft office scheme, comprising 2 storey pavilion style office buildings. 10 buildings each covering between 5-10,000 sq ft, together with a small residential plot.
- Following the grant of planning consent the residential element of the site was sold to West Pennine Housing Association.
- Northern Trust are waiting for market conditions to improve prior to developing phases 2 & 3 of the office park.
